More about me..
and where my love of the arts came from

Photography has been apart of my life since I was a little kid in elementary. I remember for career day when I was in grade 4 or 5, I created a camera out of cardboard and I went as a photographer.

Photography has always captivated my eye. The ability to freeze time forever and have photos to look back at a moment in time or to remember the beauty of a place you visited is astonishing to me.

Growing up, my Grandmother and I use to go on drives and adventures to see the beauty around our city and countryside. It was the best time! I would always take my camera and photograph flowers, birds, old buildings, anything really that I was drawn to. As the years went on, my equipment got better and I started taking some courses.

I started photographing anyone, from families to babies to couples and weddings. I loved it all back then. As I got a bit older I started to love Wedding Photography and I found lots of friends who were in this field. I was able to tag along with a friend of mine to some of their weddings and learn from them! I am forever grateful. I then started to branch out and start 2nd shooting for other photographers as well as booking my own weddings which I enjoyed.

After having kids though, something changed in me and shooting weddings started to become more of a stressor for me instead of the fun magical time it use to be. Actually this happened with almost every other session I had too. So I decided to take a break from photography for a while and figure out what it was about it that I am passionate about in the season of life I was currently in.

I realized that I want to pursue my nature and landscape photography as that is what really calls to my heart!

So here I am, chasing sunsets, storms, adventure and rainbows. Loving life and loving nature.

And the odd newborn<3

I grew up sketching and taking photographs but painting has only come into my life since 2020. I started it before the world shut down and used it as a creative stress reliever. Now I can't get enough of it.
